About this video

Prompt Engineering is the practice of designing and testing prompts to guide AI responses. Why can Zero-shot Prompting, Few-shot Prompting and Chain-of-Thought Prompting produce different results with the same model?

From GPT-3 research in 2020 to methods for reasoning, knowledge retrieval and tool use, Prompt Engineering has developed into a range of problem-solving techniques.

In the 2023 Tree of Thoughts study, this method solved 74% of Game of 24 problems, compared with 4% for Chain-of-Thought under the same experimental setup.

You will explore:

  • How do Zero-shot and Few-shot Prompting differ?
  • How do Chain-of-Thought, Self-Consistency and Tree of Thoughts organize reasoning?
  • How does RAG bring external documents into answer generation?
  • How does ReAct combine reasoning with actions and tools?
  • How can AI generate, select and improve prompts?
